WI Cancer Reporting System – Trainer Position Opening

The Wisconsin Cancer Reporting System (WCRS) would like to share with you an exciting job opening for one WCRS Trainer position in downtown Madison! WCRS is looking for a highly skilled Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) to develop and conduct web-based, on-site and regional trainings for cancer reporters, medical records staff and hospital management. This position will be responsible for providing support for quality cancer data submissions; to ensure compliance of national and state reporting requirements and standards; and will serve as Wisconsin’s cancer medical and reporting expert. The position will build and maintain effective relationships with reporting facilities and our national standard-setters. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience abstracting, consolidating, staging and editing in a central cancer registry, and will be knowledgeable of national and state cancer reporting standards and requirements.
