The Governor’s Health Equity Council has released their 2023 Governor’s Health Equity Council Report, Building a Better Wisconsin: Investing in the Health and Well-being of Wisconsinites.
The Governor’s Health Equity Council was established by Governor Tony Evers in 2019 to address the various factors that exacerbate health disparities by creating a comprehensive plan to achieve long-lasting and equitable health outcomes for all Wisconsinites.
Many of their strategies closely align with the priorities of the Wisconsin Cancer Plan 2020-2030, especially around areas of workforce development, increasing access to quality health care, and improving health data across Wisconsin.
