"Affordable Care Act, Medicaid, and Health Reform: What's Next at the Federal Level and in Wisconsin?" – Livestream Opportunity

The 2015-2017 Biennial Budget (2015 Wisconsin Act 55) was signed into law by Governor Walker on July 12, 2015. There are number of the provisions in the law that are noteworthy to the cancer community as they relate to objectives in the Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan in the areas of prevention, screening, and treatment. The WI Comprehensive Cancer Control Program and the WI Tobacco Prevention and Control Program received level funding, while the Wisconsin Well Woman Program, which provides preventative health screening services to women with little or no health insurance coverage, received a one-time increase in funding of $100,000.
