National Cancer Institute Daily Digest Bulletin
In the State of the Union address, held in January of this year, President Barack Obama appointed Vice President Joe Biden to head nationwide efforts to advance cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care standards. The initiative is Cancer Moonshot, bringing together science, technology, advocacy, social science and big data to combat the disease. Already, the program has been successful in linking research, healthcare, and policy organizations.
