2016 CCC Implementation Grants to Increase Access to Quality Cancer Care

The Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Program is pleased to announce grantees for the “CCC Implementation Grants to Increase Access to Quality Cancer Care”. Funds awarded will support the implementation of Priority 9, “Increase Access to Quality Cancer Care and Services”, in the WI CCC Plan 2015-2020, as well as one or more of the cross cutting issues.

The 2016 awardees are: ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis, G-E-T Support, Ho-Chunk Nation Health Department, Memorial Medical Center Foundation, and Scenic Bluffs Community Health Center. Project efforts include increasing non-clinical support and resources for cancer patients, survivors and their families in rural and under-served communities, training for providers and patients to improve care communication, and training in overall standards of cancer care procedures for rural communities.
