Toolkit for Improving Colorectal Cancer Screening Rates Added to Online WI CCC Plan

WCHQ and its Colorectal Cancer Screening Quality Improvement Steering Team recently released the Toolkit for Improving Colorectal Cancer Screening Rates. The toolkit provides evidence-based strategies for healthcare provider organizations to increase colorectal cancer screening rates and provides a variety of resources to support these strategies.

The toolkit is a great resource for those working to implement WI CCC Plan 2015-2020’s Priority 7 “Increase use of recommended cancer screenings,” Strategy B “Implement health care system based strategies to increase cancer screenings.” To access the toolkit on our website, go to www.wicancer.org/plan, select Priority 7, look to the right bottom corner of the page to “Resources to take action on” and select Strategy B. The toolkit can also be found on our homepage under “Recently Added Resources.”
