National Healthcare Decisions Day, held annually on April 16th, aims to educate and empower the public and healthcare providers about the importance of advance care planning. The initiative’s goal it to provide clear, concise, and consistent information on healthcare decision making. The Wisconsin Comprehensive Cancer Control Program is pleased to share a new infographic, “Improving End-of-Life Care for Cancer Patients: Promoting Advance Care Planning” in honor of NHDD on April 16th. The infographic can be used as an educational tool for implementing Priority 11: Increase advance care planning found in the WI Comprehensive Cancer Control Plan 2015-2020.
