A recent report by the CDC estimated that over 53,000 cases of cervical cancer could be prevented by increasing HPV vaccine completion to 80%. Several barriers will have to be addressed in order to increase the rate, however oncologists like Dr. Howard Bailey and colleagues are working diligently to spread the message.
