GrapeVine Program: Gynecologic Cancers: Going Public with “Private Concerns”

webinar , United States

During COVID-19, the number of preventive cancer screenings has drastically declined. Screenings are the best way to help detect cancer when it's most treatable, so knowing our bodies and knowing on our own when something isn't right becomes even more important during this time when we aren't able to see healthcare providers as often. During this FREE webinar, we aim to remove the stigma of talking about gynecologic cancers in order to help women better understand the risk factors and warning signs of the 5 main types of gynecologic cancers.

The session will cover: • The five main types of gynecologic cancer

HPV and other risk factors
Actions to lower gynecologic cancer risk
Screening options
Warnings signs & symptoms

This webinar is presented by GrapeVine - a program of the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation, which trains nurses to lead women's health education in their communities.
