Scientific Communication & Stakeholder Engagement Seminar

Join the UWCCC Community Outreach and Engagement Team & the Division of Extension in welcoming Dr. Dominique Brossard for a virtual lecture on bridging science and community in research. Her talk will focus on stakeholder engagement and speaking about science with communities. Dr. Brossard is internationally known for her research, which focuses on the intersection between science, media and policy. She is particularly interested in understanding the role of values in shaping public attitudes and using cross-cultural analysis to understand these processes. Her teaching responsibilities include courses in strategic communication theory and research, which focus on science and risk communication.
