Nutrition: Food as Medicine – Survivorship Series

Survivorship Series- International agencies around the world recommend a plant-based diet to reduce the risk of cancer development and its recurrence for cancer survivors. Alison Tierney, MS, RD, CD, CSO, a board certified oncology dietitian, will join us for a workshop to educate us on what a plant-based diet is, how it reduces risk, and the key principles for implementing this approach in a nutritionally adequate way to complement the fight against cancer and its recurrence.
