HPV Vaccination: Age 9 – From Research to Practice

November 9, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Data from the 2022 CDC’s National Immunization Survey-Teen survey identified COVID-19 pandemic impacts on adolescent vaccination coverage. For the first time since 2013, the proportion of 13–17-year-olds who received their first dose of the human papillomavirus (HPV) vaccine did not increase. HPV vaccination starting at age 9 can counteract pandemic effects leading to an increase in vaccine completion rates and preventing HPV-related cancers.

In this informative webinar:
• Explore new evidence on the impact of HPV vaccination at age 9.
• Learn from case studies of age 9 success within health departments and healthcare organizations.
• Discuss best practices for the implementation of age 9 activities.
