Empowering American Indian and Alaska Native Communities: Bridging Gaps in HPV Vaccination and Cancer Prevention

This virtual seminar on November 6th from 12-1:15PM CST will explore HPV vaccination inequities in HPV vaccination and HPV cancers within American Indian and Alaska Native communities. Panelists will present data showcasing existing disparities and discuss strategies for enhancing HPV cancer prevention efforts within this population.

The seminar will be moderated by Janel H. Johnson, DO, MPH, Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine at the Cherokee Nation.

Presenters will be Ronny A. Bell, PhD, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) ; Melissa Buffalo, American Indian Cancer Foundation; Jessica Buck DiSilvestro, MD, Tufts Medical Center; and Kristine Sprigler, Cervical Cancer Survivor.
