Dane County Immunization Coalition Spring Symposium

We are pleased to announce that our Annual Symposium will be held virtually on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm.

 

This is a virtual conference held free of charge via Zoom and is intended for health care staff who administer vaccines or facilitate the administration of immunizations: nurses, medical assistants, physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, public health staff, and school nurses.

Dr. Paul Hunter, MD will be presenting on Immunization Updates for 2023 and Dr. Anna Taddio, PhD will be presenting on Improving the Vaccination Experience: What CARDS Will You Play?

 

Continuing Education Contact Hours:

 

For nurses, this activity has been submitted to Wisconsin Nurses Association (WNA) for approval to award contact hours. Wisconsin Nurses Association is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

 

For certified medical assistants, this activity has been submitted to the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) for approval to award general/clinical contact hours with successful completion of the program.

 

To earn continuing education hours for this live activity, participants must individually register for the event (even if watching with a group), attend 100% of the live activity, and complete a written evaluation.
