Ascension Wisconsin – Cancer Survivorship Educational Health Fair

May 17 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Ascension Wisconsin’s Cancer Survivorship Educational Health Fair

Join Ascension Wisconsin as they celebrate National Cancer Survivor Day as a community (open to both Ascension and Non-Ascension patients) on May 17th, 2025 at Ascension SE Wisconsin (201 N Mayfair Rd., Wauwatosa). Ascension Wisconsin aligns with the National Cancer Institute’s definition of a cancer survivor as “An individual is considered a cancer survivor from the time of diagnosis through the balance of life. There are many types of survivors, including those living with cancer and those free of cancer.” As a National Cancer Survivor Day® event, it is also a “celebration for those who have survived, inspiration for those recently diagnosed, a gathering of support for families and an outreach to the community.” There will be a wide variety of breakout sessions that you may attend if you are interested. Before, during, or after breakout sessions, connect with community resources sharing information about various topics for all cancer types such as nutrition, sexual health, physical activity programs, financial assistance, and natural beauty products. Many will have free giveaways! A mocktail bar and food will be provided throughout the event.

Registration is not required but requested. See our information/registration page here for more details. Breakout agenda and flyer attached.
