During COVID-19, the number of breast cancer screenings has drastically declined. Screenings are the best way to help detect breast cancer when it's most treatable, so knowing our bodies and knowing on our own when something isn't right becomes even more important during this time when we aren't able to see healthcare providers as often.
By attending this FREE webinar, women will learn factors linked to breast cancer, how to reduce risk, and how to advocate for care. Emphasis is on the issues and steps that women face prior to breast cancer diagnosis.
Specific discussion will include:
• Risk factors
• How to reduce risk
• Screening recommendations
• Signs and symptoms of breast cancer
• Managing abnormal screenings
• Where to find more information and resources
This webinar is presented by GrapeVine - a program of the Wisconsin Women's Health Foundation, which trains nurses to lead women's health education in their communities.
