Increasing Colorectal Cancer Screening

The American Cancer Society & Kohl’s Healthy Families invite health care professionals and community health workers to join us for a FREE webinar on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, beginning at 12PM CST. We welcome our guest presenter Dr. Jennifer Weiss from UW Health, Gastroenterology & Hepatology Department to share her expertise on the following topics:

• What is colorectal cancer? Who is at risk for colorectal cancer?

• What are the screening guidelines for colorectal cancer?

• How can health care workers use patient informed decision making to help determine the right screening?

• Are there specific strategies, tools, or resources for talking with patients that you recommend?
