Komen’s Center for Public Policy 2022 Wisconsin Advocacy Forum

December 8, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

Susan G. Komen’s Center for Public Policy believes all Wisconsinites deserve equitable access to high-quality breast health care no matter their age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, cancer stage or socio-economic status. By prioritizing equitable access to high-quality health care, everyone will be given the opportunity to survive breast cancer.

The Center for Public Policy is thrilled to announce we will be hosting an in-person Wisconsin Advocacy Forum. This interactive forum will provide participants the opportunity to learn more about Komen’s policy and advocacy work and how to positively impact these key issues in Wisconsin.

Participants will:

  • Gain an understanding of the health policy opportunities and challenges impacting breast cancer in Wisconsin.
  • Develop an understanding of the channels of influence in the decision-making process and how advocates can engage in the process.
  • Collaborate on best practices on how advocates, stakeholders, community partners and policymakers can work together to advance breast health policy.
  • Meet and connect with like-minded individuals in support of a common goal of advancing policy that impact breast cancer and health outcomes.

New and seasoned advocates, community partners and stakeholders alike are encouraged to attend, we hope to see you on December 8th.
