  • Increase staffing and funding for the WI Cancer Reporting System.
  • Increase reporting from non-hospital facilities.
  • Increase reporting from out of state facilities that diagnose and/or treat WI residents.
  • Promote timely and complete reporting to the WCRS.
  • Train health care providers on the law and requirements for reporting cancer cases to WCRS.
  • Reward/recognize facilities for compliance and quality submission.
  • Increase the number of Certified Tumor Registrars, especially in rural facilities.
