SUMMARY:ACS and The National Prostate Cancer Roundtable - Prostate Cancer Risk Assessment and Screening for Clinicians
DESCRIPTION:The American Cancer Society and the National Prostate Cancer Roundtable will host a webinar entitled Prostate Cancer Risk Assessment and Screening for Clinicians on Jun 2\, 2025 at 1PM CST. \nProstate cancer incidence is rising among American men\, and screening for prostate cancer with a PSA test is an important tool to detect it when it is still localized and curable. This webinar will educate physicians and healthcare providers as to the history of the PSA test\, the ongoing controversy around its use\, and why it is still an important and lifesaving tool when used in a shared decision-making model. \nThe webinar will also discuss how to engage patients in shared decision-making for prostate cancer screening and include discussion of identifying which patients are most likely to benefit from having this conversation. Open to all. \nTo register: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_CBp6UPd2Sqa8KM7Zl5PjxA#/registration
