DESCRIPTION:Join the UW Carbone Pancreas Cancer Task Force on World Pancreatic Cancer Day (November 20 from 4-7pm)! \nThe Pancreas Cancer Awareness Night program is dedicated to “Building Strength” for pancreatic cancer patients\, loved ones and community members. Enjoy discussions\, including: \n\nStrengthening the Mind with Travis Daniel\, PsyD\nStrengthening the Body with Kim Dittus\, MD\nStrengthening the Research with Adam Kuchina\, PhD\n\nThe evening will also include an opportunity to: \n\nAsk questions of our panel of faculty\, scientists and medical staff\nHear from cancer survivors and caregivers\nLearn about resources that can help strengthen your journey\n\nThe event is free but registration is required. This event will be offered in-person (refreshments provided) and virtually. In-person attendance is highly recommended to see student research posters as well as interact with patient community\, faculty and staff.
