SUMMARY:Prevent Cancer Dialogue Virtual Summit Series
DESCRIPTION:The 2023 Prevent Cancer Dialogue will be held virtually as a series of two webcast summits taking place on May 24 and June 28\, 2023. With the focus of each summit\, we will be building on the themes we introduced during the 2022 Dialogue: innovations and health equity in cancer prevention and early detection.  Experts in the field will give relevant and enlightening presentations\, and Q&A sessions and peer-to-peer conversations will provide productive dialogue among participants. \nRegistration for each virtual summit is separate and free of charge. \nSummit 1\nAddressing Community-Level Disparities in Cancer Prevention and Early Detection\nWednesday\, May 24\, 2023\, 1:00-4:00pm ET\n(Summit #1 Agenda)\nSpeakers will cover topics like successful community-centered approaches and patient navigation strategies that can reduce disparities and increase cancer screenings. Breakout groups will discuss examples of organizations’ successful work in patient navigation\, tailored outreach to medically underserved communities\, increasing access to and rates of lung cancer screening\, and strategies to increase screening in LGBTQ+ communities. \nREGISTER TODAY\n\nSummit 2\nHarnessing the Power of Innovation to Improve Cancer Prevention and Early Detection\nWednesday\, June 28\, 2023\, 1:00-4:00pm ET\n(Summit #2 Agenda)\nSpeakers will cover several innovations currently in use or with novel applications in early detection and how the use of those methods may advance improvements in screening.
