DESCRIPTION:The Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan’s National Native Network with Indian Health Service Clinical Support Center (Accredited Provider) present a webinar. \nTitle: Surviving the Journey through Cervical Cancer\nDate: Wednesday\, January 26\, 2022\nTime 3 – 4 p.m. EDT \nPresenter: \nAmanda Hill-Youngers\, CNM\, MSN\nCertified Nurse Midwife\nOyate Health Center \nTarget Audience:\nPhysicians\, nurses\, health educators\, administrators\, and support staff working with American Indian and/or Alaska Native communities. \nLearning Objectives/Outcomes\nAt the conclusion of this activity\, the healthcare team will be able to: \n1. Examine the progress and lifetime risk for cervical cancer in women with an abnormal pap smear.\n2. Identify best practices for referral and treatment of cervical cancer.\n3. DESCRIPTION:Are You Ready to Quit Smoking? ​ \nJbaaccoin Advocate Aurora Health’s 4 Week (weekly for 4 weeks) Smoking Cessation Program\, Freshstart\, sponsored by the American Cancer Society. ​ \nThe primary goal of Freshstart is to help participants plan a successful quit attempt by teaching effective ways to overcome nicotine dependence. Freshstart is designed to help any tobacco user\, including those who may be unsure about wanting to quit\, and specifically addresses ambivalence about quitting.
